Park Hours:  7 a.m. to dusk

Description:  The 82-acre property was acquired by PenMet Parks from Pierce County on February 1, 2011.

Sunrise Beah Park is an undeveloped 82-acre scenic site on the peninsula with over 2,400 feet of waterfront on Colvos Passage just north of Gig Harbor with walking trails and is a popular diving destination.  There are forest paths and steep trails with views of Mt. Rainier and the water.

Sunrise Beach is a narrow park running down a long grassy hill to the beach.  Half-way down to the beach are a few picnic tables to have a refreshing snack or take in the majestic view.  There are also portable toilets at the parking area.
