PenMet Parks has updated the District's six-year Comprehensive Park, Open Space and Recreation Plan. The planning process involved work by PenMet staff, our consultant, Hough, Beck & Baird with HDR, and citizen input.
A citizen's advisory group made up of people involved with a variety of park and recreation matters in the community provided representation and communication from the citizen focus groups.
The process involved public input in a variety of forms:
Survey Questionnaire for Community Organizations
Focus Group meetings on a variety of subjects
Public Workshop reviewing all focus group work
Public surveys on general park and recreation topics and specific projects and services within the District
The focus groups met and those responses are available via links below which addressed the following:
Questions related to the specific focus group subject(s)
Update of the focus group input to the 2006 planning effort
Update of the inventory of facilities relevant to this focus group
